HeatPO\u2122 is particular useful in complex heating networks with multiple production assets and flow restrictions in the network. Such network is often so complicated that manual planning will lead to a sub-optimal production plan which can either not be executed or will be too expensive.       How does HeatPO\u2122 work<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      The optimization algorithms in HeatPO\u2122 use heat demand forecasts from HeatFor\u2122 and master data about production assets and network configuration to calculate an optimal production plan. As HeatPO\u2122 is based on stochastic optimization it can utilize the heat demand forecast uncertainty bands generated by HeatFor\u2122. The result is a very robust production plan which takes uncertainty into consideration when making sure that heat demand can be satisfied and production costs minimized.<\/p>\n

      In an optimal configuration, HeatPO\u2122 is deployed together with the two ENFOR solutions:<\/p>\n

      • MetFor\u2122 for locally optimized weather forecasts<\/li>\n
      • HeatFor\u2122 for heat demand forecasting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Which all three seamlessly are provided as an integrated end-to-end solution for forecasting heat demand and optimization the production of the district heating.<\/p>\n

        HeatPO\u2122 is provided as an integrated service from the ENFOR platform which contains a data collection and validation module. The data collection and validation module collects the necessary data, ensures that the necessary data is available and contains a toolbox for automatic detection and correction of missing and\/or erroneous measurements. The module then feeds the validated data into the core HeatPO\u2122 modules.<\/p>\n

        The ENFOR platform also provides HeatPO\u2122 with data integration modules through either text files, FTP, SFTP or web-services such that HeatPO\u2122 can be integrated seamlessly with the operational system (SCADA) controlling the district heating network.<\/p>\n

        HeatPO\u2122 is available as a software package installed locally on the client\u2019s servers, or as a service hosted on servers operated and maintained by ENFOR\u2122.<\/p>\n
